International Art Fair Munich
At the Munich Highlights 2018, Beck & Eggeling International Fine Art presents an exclusive selection of the exhibition »Mystery of Things. Painting Pieces«, which will be presented from November 16, 2018 to February 2, 2019 in the Dusseldorf Gallery and subsequently in the Kunsthalle Recklinghausen in spring 2019.
The »painting pieces« of the participating artists show the »thingness« as a common denominator. The depictions range from classic still lifes to invented, inexplicable objects. In a small format everyday objects, utensils and abstract, tangible forms spread their picturesque magic. Some remains a mystery, remains unclarified and enigmatic. Tracing this, enduring the mystery, is the invitation of this presentation.
Beck & Eggeling presents in Munich works by:
Max Ernst, Wolf Hamm, Thomas Hartmann, Anton Henning, Johannes Hüppi, Leiko Ikemura, Paul Klee, Karin Kneffel, Susanne Kühn, August Macke, Hartmut Neumann, Emil Nolde, Heribert C. Ottersbach, Katharina Schilling, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Norbert Tadeusz, Cornelius Völker, Stefan à Wengen.
This selection of artists is supplemented with works from the gallery program and the art trade of Beck & Eggeling, such as Pablo Picasso, Manolo Valdés and Kwang Young Chun.
