The exhibition Hummelglück presents flower paintings and still lifes by German painter Norbert Tadeusz (1940 – 2011) ranging from 1970 to 2009, and thus spanning almost his entire artistic career.

Despite the fact Tadeusz pursued this motif again and again throughout his life, this body of work seems to be widely unknown to the audience. A discovery of these paintings is rewarding without fail, as they all present the artist himself in a whole different light. The striking visual drama of more renowned series such as the Cavalli or the slaughterhouse-scenes yields to a quiet and contemplative atmosphere, adding an almost touching intimacy to the flower paintings.

The exhibition is realized in close collaboration with the Norbert Tadeusz Estate which the gallery represents since 2016. Beck & Eggeling International Fine Art presents »Hummelglück« with works by Norbert Tadeusz. The exhibtion shows flower paintings by the Düsseldorf artist from 1970 until 2009.
