On Saturday, March 29th, from 11 am to 1 pm, Beck & Eggeling Gallery invites you to an extraordinary self-defense course for women, held in the midst of the ongoing exhibition "Bad Moon Rising" by Stefan Kürten and Gehard Demetz in Düsseldorf's Carlstadt district. This creates a space that unexpectedly complements the theme of the workshop: both artists explore moments in their works that could shift at any time – much like critical situations in everyday life.

Antonia Eggeling, self-defense instructor at Sportschule Alex (Düsseldorf) and amateur world champion in kickboxing, offers a practical approach tailored to the individual needs of the participants. The goal of the workshop is to break down barriers, strengthen self-confidence, and teach realistic defense techniques that are directly applicable – empowering women to assert themselves confidently and effectively in critical everyday situations, without relying on traditional martial arts.
