From Impressionism to Expressionism

With the third exhibition in Vienna since the opening of the gallery space on Margaretenstraße in summer 2016, Beck & Eggeling International Fine Art shows a high-quality selection of sketches, drawings, watercolours and paintings by renowned impressionists and expressionists.

After successful exhibitions with Heinz Mack and Heribert C. Ottersbach, the gallery now presents itself with the second focal point of its activities: classical art trade. With more than 20 years of experience in the world of art trade and an established international network of collectors and institutions, Ute Eggeling and Michael Beck are able to offer a wide portfolio of works ranging from impressionism to classical modernism. The gallery particularly emphasises on an individual consulting and a personal support of its clientele.

In the exhibition „From impressionism to expressionism“ the gallery presents highlights from its inventory. The show traces to route from impressionism in France to classical modernism, focussing on German expressionism. Alongside exquisite paintings from Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Alexej von Jawlensky, August Macke, Emil Nolde, Max Pechstein and Karl Schmidt-Rott-luff, watercolours and drawings by Paul Gauguin, Ernst Ludwig Kircher, Oskar Kokoschka, August Macke and Emil Nolde amongst others round off the show.
